Overview

The Director of Product Management, Edge and AI Computing will be responsible for the team driving our Edge Computing product strategy, roadmap, product planning, and end-to-end product management.  This cross-functional leader will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key customers to define and communicate the product strategy for all Edge products within IPS.  This role will drive our AI at the Edge strategy and product vision.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead team of Product Managers and Technical Product Managers to deliver the Edge Computing portfolio
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Edge Computing products
  • Represent the voice of the customer, our partners and the market, to the rest of the business.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, engineers and executives, to understand their needs, expectations, and feedback
  • Assess emerging technologies and market/industry trends within Edge and AI Computing in order to inform product & platform strategies.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, and ensure that the product meets the quality, performance, and business goals
  • Working with key stakeholders, develop pricing and go-to-market strategies
  • Define and track key performance indicators and metrics, and report on product performance, progress, and outcomes

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years relevant experience in Product Management in Edge Computing, IoT, AI, or related industries.
  • 5+ years in a people manager role
  • Equivalent experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience building focused teams, developing leaders, and coaching for performance.
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of Edge/AI Systems and Workloads
  • Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineers, designers, researchers, and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and persuade at all levels
  • Analytical, creative, and strategic thinking, and the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions
  • Passionate, customer-centric, and results-oriented mindset, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Ability to drive clarity in product vision and communicate strategy

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in Business Administration
  • 12+ years of related experience in product management
  • Experience defining and executing on market expansion initiatives
  • Experience in AI systems deployment and bring-up

 

Location:

Maynard, MA preferred.  Remote is possible with regular travel to business locations. 

 

Travel:

 At times this position will require travel to various customer facing and / or internal events and meetings. Travel will be both domestic and international and is expected to be 20% or less of the time.

 

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is $160,000 - $200,000; the pay ultimately offered within the expected range may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
